I wasn't sure who to do for this month's challenge, but I've decided to go with my shy guy wrestler/pilot - Duncan!
1.) Describe your character's relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no? Duncan has a great relationship with his mother, and she probably knows him better than he knows himself most of the time. His father left when he was just a baby, so he's never known his father or had a father figure in his life. He doesn't feel like he's missed out on anything though, and he's very close to his mother and sisters.
2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
I'm gonna say his jawline, his natural blonde hair, and his cheeks, which are usually blushing!
3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don't have any, is there a reason? Duncan doesn't have any scars. I think that's probably to do with him being quite shy and hesitant about things.
4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive? I don't believe that there's a vain bone in Duncan's body! He definitely doesn't see himself as being attractive. At a stretch, he might agree that he looks handsome on a certain day, but that's it.
5.) What's your character's ranking on the KINSEY SCALE? Mm, I'm gonna say between a 1 and 2.
6.) Describe your character's happiest memory. That would be the first time he flew a plane. He loved the way it made him feel. And also, the Tough Enough experience and meeting Chester, Melissa and Kyle is a happy memory too.
7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why? No, there's nothing that Duncan would want to erase. He's not had things easy by any means, but he knows it could be a lot worse, so he's quite content.
8.) Day of Favorites! What's your character's favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?
Favourite ice cream flavour: Pistachio
Favourite colour: Orange
Favourite song: Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi
Favourite flower: Rose
9.) Who does your character trust? It was just his mother and sisters, but it's now expanded to include Chester, Melissa and Kyle.
10.) Can you define a turning point in your character's life? Multiples are acceptable. The first would be joining the gym where he ended up stumbling across a wrestling class and joining it. The second would be his sister entering him into Tough Enough, of course.
11.) Is there an animal you equate with your character? At the moment, I think I'd have to say an owl. He just reminds me of one for some reason.
12.) How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times? Letters or email? Duncan's not really into technology and gadgets, unless they're attached to a plane, but he does okay with phones and computers. He definitely prefers to email people too.
13.) What does your character's bed look like when he/she wakes up? Are the covers off on one side of the bed, are they all curled around a pillow, sprawled everywhere? In what position might they sleep? Duncan sleeps still and in one position, usually on his front, although getting into a comfortable position to sleep is what makes his pillows and covers a bit messy. He regularly wakes looking a bit dishevelled.
14.) How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold? Temperature changes don't both Duncan much. He's alright either way, although if one extreme was to bother him more it would be the heat.
15.) Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl? Duncan can be both. Sometimes he's happy to be up at dawn to go to the gym, and other times he's staying up late into the night with his friends.
16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, et cetera. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative? No, just his mother and sisters. He used to be close to his maternal grandparents but they have since died.
17.) What's your character's desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy? Well he doesn't really have a workspace right now, but his desk in his room back home is neat. Not over the top neat, but everything in it's place.
18.) Is your character a good cook? What's their favorite recipe, whether they're good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.) Duncan rarely attempts cooking, not because he's not able to, but because he's used to having his mother and sisters doing all the cooking back home. He's most likely to cook something quick and easy, such as chicken stir fry.
19.) What's your character's preferred means of travel? Flying, especially when he's the pilot! Although he does enjoy driving a car too.
20.) Does your character have any irrational fears? Duncan's not actually afraid of much, except for losing his family and friends.
21.) What would your character's CUTIE MARK be? Something to do with flying. Or maybe even a cloud?
22.) If your character could time travel, where would they go? Well, since Duncan's kind of nerdy when it comes to planes, he would go back in time to visit all of the important moments for air travel.
23.) Is your character superstitious? No, not at all.
24.) What might your character's ideal romantic partner be? Somebody who accepts him and all his quirks, while also being deeply caring towards him.
25.) Describe your character's hands. Are they small, long, calloused, smooth, stubby? Duncan's hands are medium sized and longer than average, with fairly long slender fingers.They're soft to the touch, aside from a couple of cuts and scrapes from his various pursuits.
26.) Second day of favorites! Favorite comfort food, favorite vice, favorite outfit, favorite hot drink, favorite time of year, and favorite holiday.
Favourite comfort food: His mother's homemade apple pie.
Favourite vice: Not sure if he has one...
Favourite outfit: His ring gear!
Favourite hot drink: Tea

Favourite holiday: Christmas
27.) Pick two songs that describe your character at two different points of their life, and explain why you chose them. I honestly can't think of any songs to equate with Duncan right now...
28.) If your character's life was a genre, what would it be? I'm quite unsure on this one... Definitely elements of comedy and drama.
29.) How does your character smell? Do they wear perfume or cologne? Duncan doesn't make a habit of wearing cologne, but when he does it's usually a scent that brings to mind a forest full of trees. He's not keen on overpowering scents.
30.) And finally: Write a letter to your character, from yourself.
Dear Duncan,
You were created pretty quickly and although I loved you from the start, I never imagined that you'd be as popular as you have become. Not that it's a bad thing! I'm so proud of you and of how far you've come, and I have to admit that I feel probably more protective over you than most of my other characters. You have big things ahead of you, and I for one can't wait to see where the future takes us.
