I'm really trying to get back into writing at the moment.
Right now I'm hoping to update a lot of stuff for my OCs and also some fanfics.

One of the many problems I'm facing at the moment is finding out which characters still exist/belong to certain owners.
Going through everybody's gallery and journals seems like a huge task, so I'm simply asking if anybody whose OCs I have written in the past could either comment here or drop me a note to fill me in on which characters are available to use, if any.

This is NOT an invitation for new characters to write. I just need to know who I can still use in my written pieces, etc.

Hi! Just thought I'd write a quick update for you guys...

So, I do have a few things in the works right now, mostly my own stuff but I'm hoping to get some other stuff done such as contest entries and such. I'm in a ship mood at the moment so expect something along those lines.

I'm currently overhauling my OCs and redoing their bios. I'm looking for some ship ideas and ship names because I'm crap at coming up with them. Here's a list of current and former ships for reference: sta.sh/02gfad9xkdim

It's hard to believe but next month marks my 8th birthday on here. I'm temped to do a contest to mark the occasion but not sure if anybody would be interested. So let me know in the comments - yay or nay to a contest?

Hey guys, I'm still here. Not as active as I'd like to be but life has been kicking me pretty hard recently...

It's been months of health problems, both mental and physical. Just found out yesterday that I'm being referred to the hospital for an operation on my gallbladder after a scan found something wrong. Been majorly depressed too, so I haven't been able to get any art or writing done.
My finances are totally screwed at the moment. I'm just about managing but there might have to be some emergency commissions later on if things continue. So I'm currently looking for a job. I had been hoping to apply to art college this year after taking a life drawing class a few weeks back. I got into the local college years ago but never went thanks to my insecurities and self doubt. I'd like to try again.
Oh, and to top off everything else my best friend dropped a bombshell today that he's moving abroad next week as he's been offered a job there.

I just can't right now.

I'm thinking of investing in a graphics tablet. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money but I want something that's easy to use and compatible with Gimp, etc. Can anybody recommend something suitable?

Would my non-wrestling OCs be better organised by fandom? (Marvel, SCOPE, etc.) I need to move my folders around at some point and I'm interested to know what would be the easier way for people to find a certain OC gallery.

Any interest in adopts? I've been going through some older characters of mine and I'd be up for adopting them out if anybody was interested in doing something with them.

Duncan Perry Duncan's creation was fast and not hugely thought out. As a character he represents my own childhood shyness, and the way he feels about dreams and ambition are reflections of my feelings about my own personal dreams and goals. He shares  my humorous side, but also some feelings of angst. I'm able to channel a lot of myself into Duncan.

Eve Morgan Eve was kind of born out of the worrier in me. She tries to avoid people and situations because she feels that she's helping or protecting others, which is something I myself have done. Her ideas seem logical but most of the time she hurts herself by shutting herself away. She's tried to hide her powers because she feels the need to fit in, something I also relate to.

Rosa Mulholland Rosa is the sweeter and happier side of me. The optimist. She's always taking care of everybody else and tends to neglect herself sometimes, which mirrors my own life. She's a problem solver and wants to help her friends and colleagues. Rosa gets attached to other people's troubles even if it's non of her business. She cares a bit too much, just like me.

Heidi Gregory Heidi is the dreamer in me. She's constantly daydreaming and believes in magic. She's never really grown up in that sense, and I relate to that. Despite her big dreams and strange ideas she's a simple person who doesn't want or need any fuss, which is a big part of who I am. She's also independent and hates to rely on anybody else. Also like myself.

Dante Dante is that character that has hidden depths. He doesn't appear to have any problems, but he's good at putting on a smile and disguising the way he really feels. While not as much like me as the others, Dante does share some of my own feelings. He's had some difficult times in his early life, and despite having loving friends and family he's still not quite sure who he is as a person. I can relate to that.
